Terms of services

www.hondapowerproducts.com.cy is an online shop belonging to Alexander Dimitriou & Sons LTD (henceforth referred to as ADS), a Cyprus registered company. 

Please read terms and conditions of services. 

When placing orders at www.hondapowerproducts.com.cy you agree the following:

1. Ordering on-line

1.1 Pictures are for illustrative purposes. Manufacturers can change the design without prior notice. We are trying to monitor all product changes and update pictures for you to have the most recent version.

1.2 Sometimes manufacturers change the specification without notice. If the product’ s performance is not materially changed then we will not accept any returns due to change of specifications.

1.3 After you place an order we check the stock availability. Stock indicated on the website are for guidance only, however we do endeavour to keep them as up to date as possible.

1.4 We normally confirm your order within 24 hours.

1.5 To process your order we need your phone number and address. If you don’t have an address for some reason we will need directions for delivery.

1.6 Purchase Order: When Payment is copmleted successfully, the name << Alexander Dimitriou & Sons LTD >> will appear in your bank statement 

2. Prices

2.1 Prices on our website are specified in euro. 

2.2 All prices include VAT. 

2.3 Prices are subject to change without notice. 

2.4 If you made your order but then the price was changed please be assured that you will pay the price, specified in your order.

3. Discounts and coupons

Our shop offers various discount options within some general rules. 

3.1 You may use your coupon code within its validity time (usually specified to you). 

3.2 We don’t allow coupon usage for already discounted products. 

3.4 Some users when reaching a certain level can get their discount for all products. 

3.5 We don’t offer discounts on request like “can you do a better price” etc. The final price (“last price”) would be the price of goods specified on website. 

3.6 Personal discount or gift coupons can be used only by person to whom it was issued. Publication or sharing your personal discount code is forbidden and will void your discount

3.7 Some discount coupons are public and can be used by anyone. 

4. Payment

4.1 Depending on the product, we offer payment via credit card and/or cash on delivery. For pre-orders, payment will be 50% of the full price shown on the website. 4.2 We don’t collect your card details and we don’t keep them within our system. PayPal and/or JCC payment systems will process your card within their protocol. 

4.3 Please note that we DO NOT accept cheques.

5. Delivery

5.1 For all orders in our internet shop above 50 EURO you will get a free door delivery. 

5.2 When we receive your order we will arrange with you the date and time of delivery by e-mail or telephone. Delivery times are approximate. Should there be any conditions preventing compliance with delivery schedules ADS shall not be liable for any damage or penalty for delay in dispatch or for failure to give notice of delay, and such delay shall not constitute grounds for cancellation.

5.3 Our delivery team will give you all necessary instructions and tips about your item. However you MUST read the manual (if applicable). ADS waives all warranty claims if the customer didn’t follow the manual and damaged the equipment through misuse.

5.4 For some specific items “FREE DOOR DELIVERY” does not mean and/or include the installation. 

5.5 For some specific items “FREE DOOR DELIVERY” may not include unloading to specified location at your premises. Normally the unloading is being made where the car can enter. You should keep in mind that heavy orders cannot be transported or lifted by steps.

5.6 For ORDERS below 50 EURO we can offer to you courier delivery to a pick-up point in your town. Ordinary we use Travel Express and AKIS Express Service. For this kind of delivery we request a prepayment by card. If you don’t have one please contact us to offer you the options. 

5.7 We don’t deliver to North Cyprus, PO Boxes or any other restricted areas.

5.8 The delivery should be received in person if other is not specified. For prepaid orders you have to provide the details of the recipient if it is not you (neighbour, housemaid)

5.9 If the recipient is not able to accept the delivery at the time agreed our delivery team can wait only 5-10 min. In case customer did not appear they will leave and arrangements for collections/courier delivery will need to be made at the customer’s expense.

6. For orders that are in stock, delivery will usually take place within 24 hours, but please allow up to 3 days maximum delivery time. For orders that are currently not in stock, delivery will usually take place within 2-3 weeks. We will contact you as soon as we receive your order, to confirm the most suitable delivery window and address.  

6. Return and refund 

6.1 If after receiving your order you would like to return any product, we will allow you to do so within 14 days of the day after receipt. 

6.2 You will have to arrange the return of the goods yourself or by courier service and present the original invoice.

6.3 Goods returned to us have to be in sellable condition (unused) and with their original packaging.

6.4 We will refund the total cost of the goods if returned within 14 days.

6.5 PLEASE NOTE, return and refund policy is made to protect you when ordering online. However we don't accept returns of used or damaged due to inappropriate usage items.

6.6 In case you would like to return any items that have been supplied with any additional items for free (special offers) all items have to be returned to get a refund. 

6.7 It is highly recommended to inspect the goods prior to signing the delivery form. If you can see any damage whatsoever to the packaging notify the driver and ask him to write it down in delivery form. If this is not possible to inspect or test the goods in case of malfunction the warranty procedure will apply.

7. Warranty and after sales service

7.1 After you receive your order should you have any questions please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will provide qualified support and consultation. 

7.2  ADS will provide to you all necessary information regarding the servicing of our products in our authorised garages in Cyprus.

7.3 Warranty starts from the date of purchase (according to your receipt)

7.4 Any warranty claims are not acceptable without original receipt

7.5 In case of any malfunction please contact us prior taking any actions or attempts to fix it. It will most likely void the warranty. 7.6 In the case of warranty repair, any evidence of work carried out on the machine by unauthorised technicians will render the warranty null and void.

7.7 Products covered by manufacturer warranty will be repaired for free within the specified warranty period by authorized service center(s) in Cyprus. However any claim is a subject of warranty terms. 

7.8 CUSTOMER takes a responsibility to obey all instructions and precautions written in the manual (where applicable). 

7.9 The delivery to the service center is the customer’s responsibility.

8. Other Terms and conditions

8.1 ADS reserves the right to reject your order without explanation of the reason

8.2 We reserve the right to send you from time to time our offers. You can unsubscribe at any moment.
